More about

my creative process

  • By changing colors and adding elements (with no use of AI!) I allow my creations to come alive. Sometimes with a clear visions, sometimes with a feeling.

After my vision becomes more clear, I choose a location and model(s) who reflect what I want to communicate. One of the most important parts of a co-creation is being connected with each other, the vision and feeling I/we want express. Which is why I often create sketches and moodboards. From this place the most beautiful images, connections and possibilities form.

  • Of which I studied 4 years, assisted other photographers and worked on a lot of personal and commissioned assignments. I also showed my works in several exhibitions around the Netherlands, which is something I want to do more in the future.

I did a 4-year long photography studies, which gave me the opportunity to explore different fields and ways of creating. Beside that I worked a few years as a (light)assistant and retoucher for various professional photographers and photo studios. In both fashion and the art world. Many experiences that gave me clarity and refined my style. After that I lived in Bali for a year, to allow many of my visions to be born.

  • traveling the world to create the most beautiful artworks.

I’ve been able to fulfill this dream partly already, by traveling a lot around Europe and moving to Bali for a year. You can see a lot of my time abroad in my portfolio.
I enjoy ‘bringing’ you to these magical, breathtaking places and shared a lot about my journey via social media.
It brings me a lot of fulfillment to see what I’ve created to far and I know my journey will keep unfolding and portfolio expanding end as this world has so many places to capture.

  • A feeling I want to communicate. That’s why I also find it very interesting to see which of my artworks are the favorites of others. We probably feel connected to it, because it tells something about us. Maybe about our inner world, the dreams we have or something we’re going through. It’s reflecting something within ourselves. And within my creations I hope you can feel the peace and magic that I want to translate through imagery.
