Hi there!
My name is Luna Rhoda and I’m a Dutch photographer based in Amsterdam.
My images and artworks are often filled with meaning and vibrant colors. Usually made in nature with people that match the vision I hold for a photoshoot or series. When working for clients I provide them a reflection of who they are, their mission or the message they want to communicate. Styling, location and mood play a big part in that. And this part of our co-creation feels most exiting to me. Seeing how everything comes together. After the photoshoots I edit the images in my own unique style, which I developed over the last 15 years.
I started photographing from a super young age, as a family member gave me his big DSLR camera on birthdays when I was 7 years old. I loved it so much and kept doing it, eventually bought my own camera and brought it everywhere I would go. It made me realize this is what I loved doing the most. So I decided to study photography and follow my passion and heart.
Creating is something I’ve always done. It’s my way to express the magic I feel inside and the show the beauty of this breathtaking world. Which is one of the reasons why I moved to Bali for a year. To allow all of my bigger dreams and visions to come true. I photographed at waterfalls and mountains and during sunsets and sunrises at the most beautiful cliffs and beaches. For both myself and others. Which gave me so much fullfilment. Then I moved back to Amsterdam and decided to continue my photography journey and projects here. I still dream of traveling the world to the most beautiful places to create art. And I know I will. But for now, I’m building my dreams in The Netherlands and surrounding countries. While I create for and with other dreamers, inspirers, creatives and anyone who feels inspired to create something magical with me.
Photography is my medium to communicate messages with a deeper meaning. Whether that’s done very visibly or more intuitively. I love capturing stories, nature and people in their most aligned forms.
My works are dreamy, surreal, otherworldly and hold a sense of peace. Allowing us to see the beauty of this life and all that surrounds us. I hope you feel inspired to connect more deeply, get into nature, explore the world and make your own dreams a reality.
Love hearing your feedback and feel free to reach out if you want to work with me.✨
