Closely Connected

Closely Connected is a series that reflects the deep connection I feel with the magic inside — It explores my relationship with intuition, the purest expression of myself and the part of me that is always connected.

Many of the images speak to the feminine within myself. Not as a gender, but as an energy moving through me. Using my intuition as my guidance makes me feel alive and aligned. To myself and the world around me. Feeling, allowing, sensing and surrendering allow me to tap into that deeper knowing within myself. And that makes me feel deeply and closely connected to myself and all that is.

Intuition is a very important element in my life as it allows me to live from within. Butterflies appear throughout this series as symbols of my connection to it. Beside magic and wonder, they also represent inner knowing, freedom of expression and otherworldly energy. For me, they are reminders of the subtle worlds that exist beyond the three-dimensional and my connection to it.

Through meditation I enter deeper states of awareness and can see things clearly. It’s a space where the connection to my soul and purest self is found. A way of being in alignment with who I truly am, and all the beauty and wonder that surround and awaits me.

This series feels like a visual translation of my inner world. It’s an invitation to look beyond what is visible, to trust intuition and to remember (or open up to the idea) that there is more than the physical world.

Even if these words feel distant, I hope the images allow you to feel the magic — and reconnect, even for a moment, with your own inner being, soul and wisdom. Because I belief that all the answers we’re looking for are within us. It’s about listening, remembering and allowing . And this is an ode to that connection.
